Works well when its connected...

I mainly use this as a go to for controlling my computer when I dont feel like getting up. Mainly to shut my computer off when Im falling asleep. Ive noticed though the app on my computer likes to "sleep" or stop working and I have to physically click on the app on my computer for the app on my phone to find my computer on the network. Why not just keep the app on my computer running at all times? Unless I tell it otherwise? I paid money for it! Its the least you could do! Fixing that would be much appreciated!
